Two teens injured in overnight shooting in Warner Robins
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two males are in stable condition after an overnight shooting in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on June 12 at the intersection of Lockwood Drive and Hollydale Drive.
Officers responded to the scene and found a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound to his hand and a 17-year-old with gunshot wounds to his arm, leg and abdomen. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment and are listed in stable condition.
According to a news release, the victims said they were in a vehicle being followed by a suspect vehicle. When they reached the intersection, someone in the suspect vehicle began shooting at them.
Due to the nature of the incident and the extent of the injuries, the Criminal Investigations Division and Identification Criminalistics Unit responded to investigate and process the scene.
