95,557 workers from 264 workplaces in the Atlanta area participated in the Top Workplaces poll, which had an overall response rate of 54.8%.

There were 23 questions about company culture in the employee engagement survey, including:

  • Alignment and connection

: company values, being informed and appreciated, interdepartmental cooperation

  • Coaching and performance:

working at full potential, being able to share new ideas, having managers who know what s going on, being supported and mentored

  • Basics

: pay, benefits, flexibility, training, expectations

On a seven-point Likert scale, which goes from strongly disagree to strongly agree, respondents rate survey statements.

The proportion of respondents who indicated that they agreed, strongly agreed, or somewhat agreed with each statement is known as the positivity score.

Nearly 80 percent of those surveyed agreed with the assertions. I feel like I’m a part of something important at work.

Fewer were pleased with their compensation and benefits package. The statement, “My benefits package is good compared to others in this industry,” was accepted by 51.4% of respondents. With 56.3% of respondents agreeing with the statement, “I have not considered searching for a better job in the past month,” job loyalty also scored lower.

Employee satisfaction with pay, perceptions of senior managers’ understanding of company operations, and interdepartmental cooperation were all higher than in the previous year’s survey.
