Moms and dads join iStroll Macon for Fourth of July workout in Macon
Georgia’s MACON (41NBC/WMGT)Before the festivities started, a group of people met at Amerson Park on Friday morning to burn off some calories while families throughout Middle Georgia were ready to enjoy their holiday hotdogs and hamburgers.
The fourth began with red, white, blue, and yoga mats and dumbbells as moms, dads, and children gathered at Amerson Park for a brief workout organized by a local mom-and-kid training club called iStroll Macon.
Because parents were engaged, Friday’s practice was a little different, according to iStroll Macon coach Kaylee Osnowitz.
According to her, the Fourth of July is a fantastic occasion to gather and demonstrate solidarity. The celebration of the Fourth of July with the entire family is what we wish to emphasize.
In addition to mentioning the need of building a supporting network and village for moms through physical exercise, Osnowitz asserts that dads require assistance just as much as mothers do. You can visit the group’s website, Macon iStroll, if you’re interested in joining. The first class is free on iStroll Macon.
