Man arrested near High Falls on drug, firearm charges

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of selling drugs in the High Falls area.

According to a news release, deputies arrested 31-year-old Chase Allen on June 6, at 9:05 a.m., near Ham Road.

This comes after a lengthy investigation sparked by multiple complaints about suspected drug activity in the area. Public Information Officer Anna Watkins tells 41NBC that Allen’s arrest is not connected to a recent series of

drug arrests in the city of Forsyth

As of Friday, Allen is being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail. He is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug-related objects.
