Man and woman dead in suspected murder-suicide in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) Warner Robins police say a man and woman died in what s being investigated as a murder-suicide Wednesday night on Hillcrest Avenue.

Officers responded to the home around 6:30 after a 911 hang-up call, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department. When officers arrived, they conducted a welfare check and found the man dead in the backyard with a gunshot wound. Inside the home, officers found a woman also dead from a gunshot wound.

The names of the man and woman, and the address, are being withheld until proper notifications are made, police said.

Detectives with the department s Criminal Investigations Division and members of the Identification Criminalistics Unit processed the scene.
