Isolated storms possible this evening and tonight

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Another humid evening across Middle Georgia will likely see a handful of storms.

A warm and partly cloudy afternoon will see the odds for storms increase through the suppertime hours and into the night. Some storms will remain possible after midnight. Severe weather is not expected however a couple of storms could bring a few damaging gusts if they mature enough. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, so views of the Full Strawberry Moon may be limited. Lows will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s accompanied by light wind from the south-southeast. Fog will also be possible ahead of and during sunrise tomorrow.

Another partly cloudy and hot day is expected with highs hovering around 90 degrees accompanied by light wind from the south at around 5 mph. Severe weather is not anticipated, however the most intense storms could bring a few damaging wind gusts.

Overnight will be mostly cloudy with isolated storms again lingering past midnight. Fog will be possible ahead of Friday morning as lows stay around 70 degrees. Wind will remain gentle from the south.

The current pattern will finish the week and continue through Father’s Day weekend. Severe storms are not expected but close to half the region will see storms each afternoon and night. Highs will stay near 90 degrees with lows staying near 70. Real feels will be in the mid to upper 90s, however.
