Inmate injured after fight at Bibb County Law Enforcement Center

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man was injured after a fight at the Bibb County Jail on Saturday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The fight happened around 1:45 p.m. on June 14, according to a news release. The sheriff’s office said the inmate was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury sustained during the fight.

The inmate has since returned to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, the release said.
