CNN: Adam Sandler is returning to the road. The actor and comedian just revealed Adam Sandler: You’re My Best Friend, a new stand-up tour. The adored performer will make another significant comic appearance with the 30-city engagement, which begins in September.
In the meantime, Disney is returning to its roots with a follow-up to its live-action Lilo & Stitch adaptation. Stitch himself made the revelation via a lighthearted social media post. A sequel appeared inevitable given the movie’s impressive box office performance, which might make it the year’s first billion-dollar hit.
Spirit in the Sky, a 1969 masterpiece by Norman Greenbaum, is receiving new attention. The vinyl edition of the album from which the song was taken has been accompanied by the release of a new music video. Fans may even see Greenbaum himself making a brief appearance in the music video for the remixed version of the song that was released earlier this year.
