Historic Train Depot getting ready to show off new artwork
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Byron Historic Train Depot is getting ready show off some new artwork on Wednesday.
It includes a mural and new historic portrait, plus, a fresh coat of paint and new flooring.
The museum opened two months ago, according to Tour Specialist Mary Jo Mccary from the Byron Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Staff plans to showcase all that hard work with a tour of the depot, and the city’s historic jail along with a mural.
All the fun starts at 3 p.m. at 101 East Heritage Boulevard.
