Historic Ingleside Neighborhood Association holds annual 4th of July parade

Georgia’s MACON (41NBC/WMGT) The July Fourth Historic Ingleside Neighborhood Association (HINA) unites Middle Georgians with a passion for the nation despite their diverse backgrounds.

The procession was first organized by the locals in the 1970s. Blair Train, a longtime resident, is thrilled that the activities are returning for the fourth year after a two-decade break.

Train added, “It’s just a great way to celebrate the Fourth of July to see the kids, the dogs, and the families.”

For the enjoyment, families from all over came their children and dogs. Cody Hancock resides in Sandersville. In addition to everything else that he claims makes America the best nation in the world, he says he and his family drove the hour-long distance to honor the military’ sacrifices for freedom.

“We have pasta salad, chicken, and other things like that on the grills out back there,” Hancock stated. We are simply celebrating our independence and having a great Fourth of July.

Dr. Edward Clark, a doctor and local resident, played a major role in the parade’s 2022 revival. Tyler Moore, a medical student at the time, was enlisted by Clark to participate in the celebrations.

According to Moore, we discovered that we shared a fondness for vintage tractors. Since then, I’ve been here and have come out to drive one of the Super Ms for him.

According to Train, the procession blends her love of Ingleside and America with a strong message for young people.

Train stated, “We’ve always been free.” We battled for our liberty. In order for young kids to understand what freedom is, we will continue to be free.
