Bacon Grab Second Win of the Season

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – In front of a sold out crowd for Faith and Family Night Friday at Historic Luther Williams Field, the Macon Bacon defeated the Lexington County Blowfish 8-5 in a comeback victory.

After giving up three runs in the Top 2nd, the Bacon made a comeback scoring three runs of their own over the second, third and fourth innings to tie the game at three runs a pieve thru four innings.

The Bacon gave up one more run in the Top 5th before scoring five consecutive runs, including four in the Bottom 7th, to take the lead and the victory 8-5.

Macon’s baseball squad will be back at The Skillet Saturday night to host Catawba Valley for ‘Superhero/First Responder Night’. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
