‘Armed and dangerous’ man wanted for fatal Brookhaven shooting, police say

According to authorities, the suspect, Jose Carlos Meza Ignacio, 31, fled the site of the crime. People are advised not to approach him.

Investigators claim that Ignacio and the victim got into a fight over Ignacio’s gun while they were both drinking in their flat. The victim was then allegedly shot by the suspect.

Charges of murder, aggravated assault, first- and third-degree child maltreatment, gun possession, and criminal property damage were all warranted.
