Arrest made after fatal shooting in Taylor County

Georgia’s Butler (41NBC/WMGT) The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office reports that a shooting occurred early in the morning, leaving one guy dead and another in arrest.

Around 1:30 a.m., deputies arrived on Roberta Highway to respond to the gunshot. According to the sheriff’s office, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has stepped in to help with the investigation.

The victim’s and suspect’s identities have not yet been made public by the sheriff’s office.
