Jury reaches verdict on 4 of 5 counts in Diddy trial, judge indicates they ll keep deliberating

NEW YORK (AP) On Tuesday, the jury in the sex trafficking trial of Sean Diddy Combs said that it had found guilty on four of the five charges against the hip-hop mogul, but it was unable to decide on the most serious charge, racketeering conspiracy.

Echoing the prosecutors’ and Combs’ defense team’s views that it was premature to abandon reaching a conclusion on all counts after only two days of deliberations, the judge said he would direct the jury to continue considering the charge.

At 4:05 p.m., Judge Arun Subramanian reported receiving a memo. The jury’s partial verdict was announced on Tuesday. According to the report, there were jurors with unpersuasive opinions on both sides of the racketeering conspiracy accusation, which prevented the jury from reaching a unanimous decision.
