Jones County man charged with battery after choking wife

Georgia’s Jones County (41NBC/WMGT) The sheriff’s office in Jones County reports that a man was taken into custody Tuesday following a domestic altercation.

The event took place on June 24. Following a domestic altercation, Kelly Cleary Sr. was taken into custody by deputies from the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release.

Cleary allegedly choked his wife during the argument, leading to charges of abuse and family violence.
