UPDATE: Monroe County missing woman found

As of 11:15 p.m.,The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that Petitt was found safely.

Georgia’s Monroe County (41NBC/WMGT) To find a missing woman, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance.

Sharon Summers Petitt, 55, was last seen at the Shell station on Harold G. Clarke Parkway at approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 23.

Petitt weighs roughly 84 pounds and stands 5 feet tall. When last seen, she was dressed in blue scrubs.
