Mike Seekins, owner of Famous Mike s, dies

Georgia’s MACON (41NBC/WMGT) The proprietor of Famous Mike’s of Macon, Mike Seekins, passed away on Wednesday.

A Facebook post states that the eatery would be closed for the next several days.

The following was stated in the Facebook post:

Mike, Dad, died tonight at approximately 9 p.m. (Wednesday, June 25, 2025). The restaurant will be closed for the next three days as a result, and we will utilize this time to talk about what to do next. I’m sorry to break the bad news to you all, but during these difficult times, please be patient and give us some solitude. We’ll give you an update shortly.
