Houston County residents must sign up for yard debris and recycling pickup by July 1
HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Houston County residents need to act now to secure yard debris and recycling pickup services starting July 1, 2025.
Ryland Environmental will become the county’s new waste management provider on July 1. While trash collection will automatically continue for existing customers, yard debris and recycling services require separate enrollment by each homeowner.
Residents must sign up before July 1 to avoid interruption in these services. Those who miss the deadline will not receive yard debris or recycling pickup.
Current trash customers do not need to take any action to continue their weekly trash collection.
However, yard debris and recycling pickup will not be provided unless residents specifically enroll for these services.
