Georgia State Patrol investigating deadly hit-and-run in Dooly County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash in Dooly County, and needs your help finding the driver responsible.

GSP says Richard Alan Dykes of Cochran, was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 75 southbound near mile marker 109 just after 6 a.m on Tuesday.

They say Dykes was possibly hit by a semi-truck, which would now have damage to the right-side headlight, while he was standing outside his vehicle on the emergency lane.
