Juneteenth Festival in Fort Valley set for this weekend
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Legacy Group Development is partnering with the City of Fort Valley and Peach County to host the annual Juneteenth Festival.
The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 14, at the Rev. Ricky Jackson Sports Complex, located at 700 Spruce St. in Fort Valley.
Event organizer Peggy Shields says the festival is open to everyone and includes free activities for all age groups.

Live performances:
Noon to 1 p.m. -
Line dancing:
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. -
Boots on the Ground contest (cash prize):
2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. -

Honoring fathers and gifts:
4 p.m.

LadiT, a local Fort Valley musician, is scheduled to perform and says she looks forward to sharing her talent with the community.
Additional attractions include a DJ, mini health department, voter registration booth, job fair, vendors, senior bingo, inflatables, games, food and more.
