UPDATE: I-16 West lanes back open after semi-truck crash

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says all Interstate 16 West lanes are back open.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A crash between two semi-trailers blocked all westbound lanes on Interstate 16 near Exit 2 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
In a news release, the sheriff’s office said the crash happened just before the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Coliseum Drive exit. The crash was reported to Macon-Bibb 911 at 3:14 p.m.
Deputies said both trucks were traveling westbound when they collided. No injuries have been reported.
“All lanes on Interstate 16 West are blocked but will reopen soon,” the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies are asking drivers to stay away from the area until the scene is cleared and lanes reopen.
