Mercer’s Ty Dalley Announces Transfer to Clemson
MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University junior Ty Dalley announced Tuesday evening via social media that he will be transferring to Clemson University to continue his collegiate baseball career.
Dalley shared the news alongside a photo of Doug Kingsmore Stadium, home of the Clemson Tigers, signaling his excitement about the move to the Palmetto State.
A 6-foot-4, 215-pound first baseman and outfielder from Vidalia, Georgia, Dalley had a standout three-year career with the Bears. He belted 58 home runs during his time at Mercer, including a program-record 50th home run against Virginia Tech earlier this season. In addition to his power at the plate, Dalley recorded 48 doubles, 188 RBI’s, and maintained a .286 batting average.
His transfer marks a major addition for the Tigers, who continue to bolster their roster with experienced talent from the transfer portal.
