Macon Rehabilitation & Healthcare celebrates new renovations and renewed investment with Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Rehabilitation & Healthcare held a ribbon cutting on Thursday celebrating new renovations to the facility and their renewed investment with the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce.

Recently coming under new management and already open for business, Jackie Clements, Administrator for Macon Rehabilitation & Healthcare, says the facility is a skilled nursing facility that offers long term and short term care and rehabilitation for people who have had a life changing event, with physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

The new renovations included an overall facelift such as updating the furniture and various fixtures in the facility.

“Just made it a lot nicer, open and airy and just a much more pleasant place for our residents to come and convalesce and rehab,” said Clements.

“Being part of the city is just very important to us and servicing our community is what we are here for. So, it’s just important to us to be part of the Chamber and be part of Macon.”

Macon Rehabilitation & Healthcare is located at 505 Coliseum Drive, across the street from Piedmont Macon.
