37 athletes from Warner Robins-based team qualify for AAU Junior Olympics

Following their success at the AAU Regional 8 Junior Olympics Qualifier, Warner Robins’ Intensity Athletics Track Club qualified 37 athletes and seven relay teams for the AAU Junior Olympics (41NBC/WMGT), the organization said in a news release.

This past weekend, 62 participants from Intensity Athletics competed in the regional qualifying. 37 of them qualified for the national tournament, which will take place in Texas from July 25 to August 2, by placing in the top five in their respective events.For a complete events schedule, click here.

The team ended third overall, the girls division placed third overall, the boys division placed fifth, and the club won 15 regional titles.

Intensity Athletics was founded in 2013 and has remained active in the Warner Robins neighborhood, according to the group. The 2025 AAU Junior Olympics in Humble, Texas; the AAU Club Championship in Jacksonville, Florida; and the Georgia State Games in Marietta are among the club’s forthcoming events.

According to the announcement, competing with Intensity over the years has given many athletes confidence and abilities that they can use for the rest of their lives. Academic and athletic scholarships have been given to a number of Intensity athletes.
